THE ROLLING STONES

In 2013, the Phoenix, a giant mechanical bird made of hydraulic cranes, a canoe, 2 baby baths... was commissioned by

Michael Eavis.
Spectacularly set atop the Pyramid Stage, it performed a choreographed routine during the Rolling Stones'

"Sympathy For The Devil".
The animated Phoenix rose and danced before setting its nest on fire.
It accompanied Mumford and Sons' last song on Sunday evening and closed the Festival in flames.
